BUY NOW!A Taste of History
The Northwest Passage Expedition Gin is rich in flavour, steeped in history and brimming with record-breaking ambition.
Proceeds from the sales of our Northwest Passage Expedition Gin will fund the Last Great First. The 2022 maritime navigation of the Northwest Passage by human power – the ultimate ocean row.
Distinct Flavour
Our Northwest Passage Expedition Gin is flavoured with botanicals from the shores of Orkney and the Hudson Bay in Canada, to transport you back to the Age of Discovery – when lime to was added to the daily gin ration of the men of the Royal Navy to help combat scurvy.
SUPPORTING CLEAN OCEANS
There is not much data measuring microplastic content in the Northwest Passage.
While paddling the 2500m Arctic route, the team will perform meaningful data collection for The Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, so that it can be used for future research.
Big Blue Ocean Cleanup is one of the world’s leading non-profit ocean cleanups. They help keep the oceans clean, protect vulnerable marine animals, provide free educational resources, research ocean pollution for policy change, and support the development of innovative technologies.
